Privacy policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. The French version at weezar.fr/confidentialite is the one that applies.

This site is deliberately simple: no accounts, no basket, no analytics. The only moment you send us anything is the contact form.

Who is the data controller

What we receive, and why

When you use the contact form, we receive by e-mail what you typed: the type of enquiry, your name, your organisation, your e-mail address, your phone number, the project, the timing and your message.

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: your own approach to us, then steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

No field is required beyond what we need in order to reply: the type of enquiry, your name, your e-mail address and your message.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is sent by e-mail from our host OVH's server to our contact@weezar.fr mailbox. It is not written to any database on this site. Our mail is hosted by Google Workspace. Nothing is sold, exchanged or used for advertising.

How long

Correspondence is kept in our mailbox for three years from the last contact, then deleted. If work begins, the related documents are kept for the periods French law sets for commercial and accounting records.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising and no analytics cookies. When you submit the form, a technical session cookie is created to limit automated submissions. It is strictly necessary for the form to work, it is used for no tracking, and it is exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.

Typefaces are served from our own server: nothing is sent to a third party service when a page loads.

Server logs

As with any hosting, OVH's server keeps technical logs that include connection IP addresses. They exist for security and for the proper running of the service, and are kept by the host for the period set by the applicable regulations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object. To exercise it, write to contact@weezar.fr. We answer within one month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.

Image rights

If you appear in a photograph published on this site and would like it taken down, write to contact@weezar.fr: it will be removed, no questions asked.
